About The Ferrari Project & The Limited Edition Art Prints

The Camera: 
As these vehicles embody the highest standards of automotive excellence we all agreed from the beginning of this project that the level of photography and the resulting Limited Edition Art Prints and Ferrari Art Portfolio book must also be to the highest standards possible.

Internationally renowned photographer Russ Heinl initiated photographed and produced this series of Limited Edition Art Prints.  His choice of camera was a medium format Hasselblad film camera famous for the “Hasselblad Look” and the universally recognized benchmark of photographic excellence.

The Scanner: 
Once an image was selected for production the film was scanned on an Imacon/Hasselblad scanner (simply the finest scanner on the planet) to a very high resolution.  The image then entered into digital post-production for tweaking.

The Archival Paper: 
Hahnemuehle of Germany has been the worlds leading supplier of fine art papers since 1584.  From their stable of archival museum quality papers “Fine Art Baryta” was selected as the paper of choice for our Ferrari Limited Edition Art Prints.

The Printer and The Print: 
The final stage in the production was the printing itself. Each image’s printed area measures 15” x 15”. This task fell to a state-of-the-art Epson wide carriage ink jet printer capable of producing images of startling brilliance with superb color saturation. Like the Hahnemuehle paper the Epson inks are also archival thus producing an image guaranteed not to fade for 100 years if properly displayed.

Shipping Carton:  
And we didn’t stop there, each Limited Edition Art Print is shipped in a custom made heavy duty shipping carton with a specially fitted inner foam box to ensure it’s safe arrival to its new home.

Edition Size: 
Each print is offered in a limited edition series of only 100 signed and numbered images.
